Whoever loses that one is out in straight sets, West Coast will have them both covered

Not the end of the world for them now Perth and the MCG are the same size. Would expect them to beat the loser of Geelong/Collingwood and then if its Richmond in the Prelim final, that's your GF right there, the winner of that wins the flag.
Perhaps Geelong should take a leaf out WA's book and build a playing field the same size and dimensions as the MCG in Geelong so we don't have to listen to the bleating from them every year

This typical Hawthorn bullshit overlooks the fact that many Cat fans actually want Scott to STFU and get on with the job of winning finals instead.

I reckon it's whinging as well. Win at the G in September or GTFO. We lost to Richmond in 2017 because we weren't good enough. In 2004 we got a home final against a team who finished ahead of us. To listen to Scott bleat about this is annoying because it gives the players an out. With a 3-9 finals record since our last flag it's the last thing a lot of cat fans want to hear about our coach.

GWS v Bulldogs is a hard one to line up.

Round 17 - Dogs beat Melbourne by 8
Round 18 - lose to St Kilda by 27
Round 19 - beat Fremantle by 47
Round 20 - lost to Brisbane by 18
Round 21 - beat Essendon by 104
Round 22 - beat GWS by 61
Round 23 - beat Adelaide by 34

Bar the win over GWS and Essendon ( bit of a raffle ) I don't think their form is that great and the weekend off might have halted momentum.

Absolutely, their form is all over the place, perhaps the Coniglio signing has settled the group?

Both teams are their own worst enemies, very Portish apart from they both did enough to play finals.

I think the 4 favourites will win, Lions most likely to cause the upset.
