No probz, I work with a past player from Kersbrook who's brother still plays, he said this morning it was 25 years ago, I had no real knowledge.

I thought Gummy's would've been up and about a bit when Ashby and Quinno were running amok out there.

Looks like Gums picked up a lot when gun local Sam Hanna returned after starting the year at Centrals

26 ;)[/quote]

Definitely not 26. 93 was a good year :D

They've definitely experienced rare victories over the Brookers but still think Saturday was Gum's biggest win against them. And they might have had one win over the Brookers during the Quinno/Ashby days, but they've come up against some strong Kersbrook teams.

The Hanna lads pretty influential on Saturday.

When Hughesy left that almost destroyed them as he took all the players that worked for him to TV.

Must be straight from Bevan Crook's archives those stats.

Knew it was a small amount but 4 meetings in the Major Round over 50 years ain't a lot for neighbouring rivals. Hopefully there will be fifth on Saturday week, in what would be the biggest game ever between the two clubs.

Brookers through to the GF after a 3 goal win today!
Interesting to see if Gums can repeat their performance of last week.

I think gums probably would have preferred ironbank to get through. I can't see kersbrook slipping up a second time round.

Congratulations to all clubs and grades that have made it through to the Grand Final this Saturday....

My thoughts....
A GRADE
Kersbrook Vs Gumeracha - Stop Gums Mids (Moon, Hanna's) and Kersbrook are still too classy - dont think they will let this one slip like the semi. However Kersbrook Old Bodies may have been wishing to get straight through and this may be Gums chance to use their run and expose the older bodies of Kersbrook. Big oval to do it on too. Kersbrook in a close one.

B Grade
Kersbrook Vs Bridgewater/Callington - Bridgwater's B's seem to have a fair chunk of quality A Graders running around (Due to be juniors) with this I would say they have the edge on a bigger ground to expose them with the class they showed in the Semi to get there. Bridgewater by 3 goals.

18's - Gumeracha too good all year By 5 Goals.
16's - Unsure as hard to pick from a 4 team comp Kangarilla by 2 goals.
14's - Again 4 team comp - bridgy won some Meadows won some... Meadows by 2 points.

And just on juinors surly the Hills will put it to a vote again and go back to the 3 level juniors 13s 15s and 17s.

Given less juniors, perhaps drop number of players on field to 14 plus bench. No forward or back pockets. Certainly something to consider in Div 2.
If more players are available on a match day - coaches could increase up to 18. Certainly need to do something as 4 team comps not good. Really messed up first week of Div 2 Finals Series.

I would say div 2 juniors need 3 year age gaps.

14? It's currently 10 and we still only have 4 clubs per grade

Other than brad pearce and paul james kersbrook don't really have any old bodies. I reckon atleast 10 if not more maybe wouldnt be over the age of 25/26. I think the brookers will tear gum a new one this weekend.

Yeah totally agree theyd rather have Ironbank. They'll have to play at another level to beat them this week.

Same thing happens in HFL when you get s younger player to play up an age group. That can be done on match day
