I've heard Walker, Jenkins, B.Crouch and Adelaide 1st rounder from Carlton for Wines, Motlop and Port's pick 84. Good source too.

I'd rather have Cunnington for sure but yeah Wines has youth in his side. I thought Wines was impressive early on but maybe hasn't kicked on like he should have, or at least like I thought he would have. Maybe making him captain probably hasn't helped. It's not just a Geelong thing, I've been very impressed by Boak this season now that Kenny has put him where he should be. I really do see Wines as a Ling type (not necessarily a tagger), but you shot me down a bit for suggesting it.

Wines and Viney maybe?

Least Ollie doesn't try to be over tough like Viney.

Perhaps Hopper from GWS also?

All good players mentioned except Viney!

Disp eff 64 v 67
Clearances 5.2 v 4.8
Tackles 5 v 5.8

Keep in mind Viney is a pea brain fake tough guy who is massively over rated.

Bit less required of Hopper with the other guns around him perhaps?

I for one rate Wines highly bar his odd brain fade foot skills here & there. You can build a good midfield around him. Port must keep him IMO, you would get rid of SPP before him obviously.

Spot on. For an in & under player, Cunnington’s disposal by hand & foot is very good.

Depends what metrics you choose to add or remove when you compare them.

If you added the physical size of the players head, Wine would be right up there in a league of his own!
