Anyone think they might leave one of the openers out, move Labashagne up to opening and Mitch Marsh comes in and bats 3? Marsh batted 3 in the tour games I think

We basically have 3 blokes opening the batting each innings.

Khawaja opens, Warner Out
Pattison in, Starc out
Wade or Head out, Marsh in if they are tempted to give Cummins a rest.

I'd rather that they elevate Wade to open if they wanna bring Mitch in, I think our bowling lacks integrity with no Cummins, he creates wickets for his team mates even when he's not taking them himself.

I'd be more inclined to give Lyon a game off, he's taken 4/358 in England's last 5 innings'.

Smith will always be remembered as a cheat - Harmison

Shouldn't play the World Cup and the Ashes in the same year - Prior

The pitches suited Australia - Anderson

Suck on another salty breath mint Harmison. This was the joker who pioneered the mints and then in later Ashes series would bowl his 5 overs and then go and sit in an ice bath whilst a professional fielder came on as 12th man and he reckons Smith is a cheat.

The last one is fair, these pitches have been much flatter then prior english summers and our only chance was a green seamer which we havent seen. It may have also back fired but on flatter tracks we have seen aussies are much better over 9 tests.

What rubbish the one pitch that had something in it, our bowlers knocked you over for 67, granted you did win it though haha

Lyon's spinning finger is rooted, a rest wouldn't kill him.

Langer said in his press conference today that Lyons finger is fine and he will play in the fifth test.

Woakes
Archer
Broad
Leach
