No doubt it is tough being the AFC coach, I highly doubt that the AFC environment would suit an 1st time coach, going to be an interesting appointment the next one, they will certainly know what they are getting themselves in for.

As usual you missed the point, he was talking about the AFL in general

So his statement has no reflection of his time at the Crows?

No point missed here at all, I think he has made an excellent point about the industry.

My point is being an AFL coach is really tough, doing it in Adelaide for the Crows magnifies this even further, compare the focus and attention of what Pyke has had compared to a Stewie Dew faces for example.

Might not be as tough for a perennial poor performing clubs that misses finals like Gold Coast, North Melbourne or St Kilda but the spotlight would be just as severe as Collingwood, West Coast, Essendon or Geelong, the bigger clubs

Wasn’t just him, he is just a part of the board. Perhaps because he is in the media that’s the persona he is given

People can shitcan the club and players as much as they want but there is no way that squad should only have won 10 games and missed the finals this year. Something had to give and Pyke clearly lost the players and it probably all stems from the 2018 preseason

Doubt more would want to leave because Pyke has gone but might mean a few might stay if the club wants them

I think those that were definitely going have just stopped and had a look back over their shoulder to see what happens from here....some of the older players will probably be sacked you'd imagine.. eg. Betts
