Incredible stuff by gums, big congratulations. One of the more remarkable finals runs ive seen when no one really thought it could happen other then them. To think they got flogged 3 weeks in a row earlier in the year by us, kersy and bridgey then lost 1 recruit to injury and one leave makes it even better. Sam Hanna obviously was huge but those other lads really stepped up.

How good is it for the mighty Gumeracha Football club???
Knocking off the brookers in the Grannie for their first premiership since 1984.
As a former player I'm happy to see them win a premiership

Wow, didn't think the Brookers would let another one slip.

Well done to Gum though, as a club they've had some pretty tough years over the time.

The Brookers have lost just four games in the last two years - two GF's, a 2nd semi and just one minor round game by a goal (4.15 to 6.9) - and have nothing to show for it.

Great win for Gumeracha and for Hills footy!
That's the 4th year in a row where the Div.2 Premier has broken atleast a 19 year premiership drought. Great for the league.
Birdwood and Macclesfield the only ones now who haven't won one this century

I think Div 2 is in a good position

Just gotta sort the junior side of things out

Agreed if we can get Juniors sorted Div 2 will be in good shape as seniors is the best its been in a while in terms of depth.

With teams like Gums and maccy showing big improvement its great. Meadows will get there slowly, TV is the only worry really.

Yeah in a great position compared to a few years ago when you'd be happy not to see a 200 point result on any given weekend.
If they could get at least 6 teams in each of the junior grades each would be a bit more viable than they were this year with 4 but how they do that I don't know.
A lot of the joint ventures between clubs in junior grades have worked really well over the last few years which a credit to the clubs.

Congratulations to Gumeracha fantastic achievement.

On next year are all Coaches going around again? Kersbrook (normally advertise then Brett takes on the role again).
Any other movements out there early on in the off season - players or coaches.

Ryan Nelson is in the mix to head back to Barossa Districts. Judging by his new joint facebook account his wife will probably be making the decision ;)
