Deboar will keep Pendlebury quiet, the Collingwood mids wont go near their Giants opponents and will pay the price. Greenwood a massive loss for Pies. The 3 tall Giant forwards will be too much for Pies

On paper the Giants should win as you mention but they are pathetic in Melbourne and with 70k + ferals there abusing them they will curl up into the foetal position by half time.

Greene will put them on his back and carry them to the gf. He wont be taking a backward step.
Funnily enough I think home ground advantage lessens the bigger the game. 22 blokes having a red hot crack tends to over ride that advantage.
The question on everyones lips will be how much does the AFL want their baby in the big dance at the expense of Collingwood?

Agree on Collingwood but Richmond are going to treat Geelong like a red headed step child

Hodge pulls the pin.
On current form I thought he still had another year but guess his body is telling him otherwise

The next stage of his career will be just as decorated and perhaps even longer than his playing career one would think.

You could certainly see the side who has played finals more tonight. Brisbane just panicked at crucial times in that last quarter. Bombing away when here was better options with by hand and foot.
Real shame they lost but I reckon they’ll be up and about for the next couple of years

Spot on wubbsy. Same As the Richmond final. They gave away a few goals with poor discipline in the first half as well and that's another sign of finals inexperience. GWS have been very impressive in the finals so far and could be a big smoky for the flag.

Weren't Brisbane great? Weren't they brave?

Didn't they lose two home finals to go out in straight sets?

They played their "young team" and "no one expected us to play finals" cards.

Bloody oath, they were so close to each other at the initial contest and then a 15m gap by the time he'd run on towards goal. Didnt exactly scream finals desperation from the brisbane player!

It was Alex Witherden. Leg speed and chasing are not part of his game unfortunately
