Lead of 235, England 2/166. We don't even look like getting Denly or Stokes out.

Nice of the poms with assistance from Paine to set a total where Smith and Marcus can make the highest 3rd wicket partnership ever
Dave Warner will be missed!

Both gone
Stokes bowled by Lyon and Denley caught at slip for 94 off Siddle who had him in all sorts in the balls leading up to it.

Sadly reviews win and lose test matches these days! Third test is case in point

Unfortunately it’s the world we live in, it’s as crucial as making the right deciscion when winning the coin toss, just a crucial as the right bowling change.

Whilst I think England will still win this fairly easily I think they missed a trick late yesterday.

Should have had five overs at the Aussies and in particular Warner.

You just know his going to come out this innings and throw the bat and is every chance it could work. Five overs at them last night when Warner simply would not have been able to do that would have been invaluable.

Only Warner and Smith have the potential to win the game for the Aussies and will be very dangerous this morning.

Bloke at cricket training this morning firmly of the opinion that Warner will ton up and we will chase the score down...

We've got to get the final two wickets first.

Even if they hit another 25-30 I would rather had a crack at Warner.

Obviously need to get the last 2 English wickets ASAP and then the run chase is not beyond the realms of possibility, the Aussies would just need everything to go right and have Smith make at least 150 lol.

All mircales that could happen aside the last 3 days have been quite a frustrating way to end the series after the Aussies have pretty much been incontrol the whole time, England have dominated this match.

Yeah, I would have too given they were about 360 ahead at the time.

Why do we continuous bowl short at their tailenders and spread the field? Cummins last night bowled the last two overs all short, not one attempt at any sort of ball to hit the stumps, to Archer and Leach and for Archer had two men in the deep on the leg side and a third man. They got another dozen runs and still two wickets left, rather than hopefully getting them out for another half-dozen runs, and whilst it would be a huge chase, at least we would have halted their momentum.

What are the rules for when Harris can bat and who will open in his stead presuming he can't? I'd open with Paine and hopefully have Harris bat at six.
