Bedge my comment was based on the last 5 years with the there B grade sucks to lose a G.F but they seem to run into that one better side each year

I enjoyed it.. plus is it really trolling if it’s true?

Rafanelli apparently got two yellows (a red), and Lockleys had to play most the last quarter a player down. In a close game you can’t afford to be ill disciplined or give the opposition an inch.

Anyway season over now.. but shout out to Sicily I had a giggle.

Congrats on B2B mate, first quarter really set the game up. Pulteney were fortunate your lads didn’t have their kicking boots on that’s for sure!

That young red head kid on the wing (was it 16?), was a ripper, he’s way too good for C grade, thought he was your BOG.

Forward setup and entry was brilliant, well organised - guess that’s the advantage of an experienced unit.

Margin never really blew out, but also never really looked in doubt either.

*edit the red head was 19

Young ginger lad had too much pace for the Pulteney mids, he had several one-on-ones where that stood out.

Thought the bloke in the middle, #11 for Valleys, thought he was solid all day and Mitchell provided a target, should have probably kicked 6 or 7. #25 and #19 from memory both played ok.

Big deck there at Salisbury, first time I'd ever been there. Feel for some C grade ( and even A and B grade blokes ) playing on Salisbury, Elizabeth, Thebarton etc for their GF when they'd rarely play on decks that size during the year. No wonder 7 or 8 goals won plenty of games.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

Bedge it was sensational to see the Pulteney ruckman talking to the young Hope Valley Ruckman after the game, passing on his knowledge and getting him some advice. Also seen a few Pulteney players talking to and mixing with a few Hope Valley players outside of the change rooms after the game. This is what football use be like, think Pulteney should hold the Head high the way that carried themselves in a close and physical contest. Just the Goal kicking that was the difference in the end.

Geez I felt uncomfortable and awkward with no where to put it haha!

Not as uncomfortable though as later, when I got an Uber at 7:30 (yes everyone left me at Salisbury), the driver got lost at the end of the street and I walked to him half pissed in a poorly lit street, opened the door and had to inform the poor man “Mate, I’ve got a knife” then produced it..

Great Uber driver though, and took me all the way to the Hyde with good laughs along the way - and I tried to recruit him to be our “Machok” but unfortunately his sporting days are behind him.

After you gave it to Deano at one stage he put it in the bin, some bloke from Salisbury got dark with him. Then we told not a good idea as his fingerprints where on it (He shit himself and gave back to your mate from Pulteney). Next time maybe cut your fruit before you go Bedge. :D
