If he's found guilty, though, the four year ban will just whizz by.

Betts to Carlton seems to be gaining traction - and Jacobs to GWS!

I'm really surprised Gold Coast aren't making waves (pun) in the market with guys like this. They missed out on Burgoyne but surely the Daisy Thomas's or even Ballantyne would be worth a shot. At least they might be able to teach the kids a few things.

Daisy, yes, Ballantyne, no for mine, they don't need a dickhead like that up there.

I can see them doing a Port and picking up everyone else's scraps, I don't think it's a bad thing, if they can fill a few holes with some experience without breaking the bank and then get some games into some kids, they have a long road ahead, it's one that looks like it heads to the edge of a cliff but when you were 3-1 there's gotta be some positives, losing the next 18 though.

Betts might have amazing skills but he is mid 30s and can barely chase anymore, he is on 550,000 a year

Carlton are a nucleus of 22 year olds on the rise why would we want a washed up hack like betts at this stage in our journey. Would rather take greenwood

Wouldn't it be ironic if Sam Murray goes to the Gold Coast.

I agree. If you're picking up delisted/retired players for nix, why not? You could do worse. They've got a heap of kids playing for them who aren't quite up to it and like Carlton, if they got a Betts who can teach some of the kids how to play that position - that's not a bad thing is it?

For all the criticism I gave Daisy he did play well the last two seasons and could bring a few blokes up to speed in that position on the Gold Coast.

He won't be on that if he moves. Adelaide will be paying most of it, which makes it sweeter. I don't expect him to play 22 games but he would be great for Harry McKay and Charlie Curnow as far as leading to correct positions.

Greenwood into our forward-line? No.

What makes you think that? Crows want him to stay. If he leaves, its on him to accept a pay cut.

How often would you have all 3 fit at the same time?

Reid is versatile though fortunately.

i think we don't need Daniher, but if we get him i am assuming they may move Reid down back???? There has been talk for some time that Horse is keen to play him CHB...
Or Blakey on the wing??? We also have Sam Naismith who will come back, so we will need to find room for Sinclair up there too...

Potential forwards for next year
Buddy
Reid
Sinclair
Daniher
Papley
Blakey
Heeney
Ronke

I'd be more concerned if i was an opposition side how are you going to match up with them... Just a guess but i'd assume Buddy would play up the ground and Daniher deep...
