Or maybe not hang out in the rooms and hang an opponent two weeks later.

Would have thought that would be pretty obvious really?

Next thing you know Razor Ray will be in the circle singing the club song :D

I just watched the replay again this time with the thought process that he was trying to hold the ball in.... I tell you what, he's got a point here. The ball was under Neale's head until the GWS other guy pulls it out.

Correct .... Greene's main objective was to stop the ball coming out, so they could get a holding the ball. You can see Greene look up and over at Razor Ray. As soon as Razor pays holding the ball Greene was out of there. Greene made more contact with Josh Kelly's head than he made with Lachie Neale.

Decision on Toby Greene appeal is imminent after another 2 hours of argument from both QCs. The AFL have gone all out to have him suspended for this offence. Don't know why they didn't try harder the previous week when he actually did something

“Clearly rakes his hand across his face” yet no marks or effects to be seen. If he eye gouged give him at least 5 matches, but don’t suspend him for 1 match because of bias. What Hawkins did is much worse and he’s the lucky one.

Interesting that a lot of Greene defenders say you cat take the first incident into consideration when sanctioning for the second. Yet the same people would say Hawkins has been done for striking before so he deserves his week off (maybe more). You cant have it both ways. Greene deserves to be suspended based on both incidents, you cant let him off a second time because clearly he learnt nothing (same with Hawkins). You cant judge it in isolation because its not an isolated incident, its repeated behaviour.

Well you can have it both ways when Greene didn’t do anything wrong and Hawkins did a filthy cheap shot behind play. If it wasn’t finals Tom would have got more

Greene wasn’t charged with the same offence as last week.

I reckon they were just happy to give him a week so they didn’t have to go through this again during grand final week. If GWS make the GF they can deal with it all again after it’s over when he reoffends again, and he will, guys got a rap sheet longer than your arm.

I did go there. If you weren’t playing the giants your view would be very different.

Greene is a dickhead. But he should be punished past indiscretions when he didn’t nothing wrong in this case!

Anyone who touches anyone’s face, regardless of no injury happening this weekend better miss the following week! AFL has set the standard
