AFL Finals - Week 3

Talk on the national game

My opinion sways on this one.
Did he contact the face? Yes clearly as you can see it and Neale stayed down and complained of a sore nose afterwards.
Was his intention to contact the face? Questionable. The ball was under Neale's head after all so was he going for the ball? But that is no defense in the past with players getting rubbed out for multiple weeks when knocking people out in a spoiling contest.
Dickhead factor used? Possibly. AFL would have been pissed he did it again after what he did the week before.
Accumulative effect from last weeks incident? Absolutely. If you don't learn your lesson the week before, you're going to get extra punishment this time.

I'm not sure why people are so upset about this.

For two weeks we all complained that Ablett didn't get suspended for high hits and then the one he did get a game for was as soft as the two prior.

If you're a dick and get away with it, lucky you. If you're a dick again expect to cop a ban. Simple. Like Greene.

I'm still kicking myself that Hawkins had his brain fade. Probably the difference between us winning and losing tonight.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

I'd say it's the difference between losing and really losing, to be honest.

Henderson play back of forward tonight mate? Maybe try and line-up Grimes or Vlaustin knowing Tommy would be back for a Granny?

I can't believe people are defending it?

Might get a better view if you open both eyes

Seriously....you went there?
He's guilty as charged.....and a dickhead!

I did go there. If you weren’t playing the giants your view would be very different.

Greene is a dickhead. But he should be punished past indiscretions when he didn’t nothing wrong in this case!

Anyone who touches anyone’s face, regardless of no injury happening this weekend better miss the following week! AFL has set the standard

Yep I'm a pies supporter but also a footy supporter and this bloke needs to learn his lesson the hard way
The footage says it all.
If he played for collingwood I'd still agree with the guilty verdict.
I don't want to see it in the game!

Agree 100%.

Got fined for it a week ago, went there again, no need for it and it's not part of any sport.

Have a weekend off, moron.

The stupidest part is his reaction to being questioned last week "Will it change the way you play" Anyone with a quarter of a brain would simply answer "yes", even if they don't mean it.

While I don't see us winning I don't see us getting blown away either. I'd rather lose by more trying to kick a score though than what we saw against the Pies, shutting up shop and getting done by ten points. Have a crack. I'm still not convinced Richmond are that good, just like all the teams in the league this year.

Swingman. Lochie up front with Danger to help win clearances with a spell up front every now and then. We need to win clearances or we don't win the game.

That was one of the scenarios discussed last night to cover Hawkins early.

This. They are due a loss I reckon. Historically the cats own the tiges. First quarter vital for Geelong, they cant afford a 4-5 goal deficit.

I've gone Miers. Ubet have the deal again which won me $400 a couple of weeks ago. Money back if your player doesnt kick the first goal and kicks a goal in the first half .
PS Gone a few bets on Ladbrokes too as they gave me $120 worth of bonus bets today.

Wonder if he could kick 100 in a season if he played as a permanent forward.
