Quite amazing that GL/PA have only played each other twice at AO in Grand Finals

1934 Half time
GL 10-8 [68]
PA 6-13[49]

2019 Half time
GL 6-1[37]
PA 2-6[18]

In both games GL led at half time by 19 points !
In both games PA had more scoring shots by 1 at half time
Both seasons PA beat GL in the second semi final

I'm not equipped with all of your research skills, so I'm just going to ask straight out, is that the first time you've cheered the Magpies this year?

I don't think so, maybe? I cheer Port. Is that your first post not mentioning 'corporate' this year?

AFL have formally requested to SANFL to align all rules with them due to the mid season draft and it given those players a better opportunity. Also to assist with players who float between the two leagues.

We know the SANFL will bend over

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

The powers first sanfl flag still eludes them.

In all seriousness. They were bullied today. If hats the depth for the power I’d be very concerned as a port fan. They were soft.

The Bedge wrote:At the risk of sounding like one of those old blokes.. this Port Adelaide organisation is a disgrace.

Growing up loved watching the Magpies, played with aggression and ticker - none of these blokes out there play for the jumper or the club. None are willing to genuinely put their body on the line and head over the ball.

Just a bunch of over paid athletes playing a system and looking like a side that couldn’t care what the outcome is.

Well done Bays, the commitment to game plan was outstanding, Port tried to hit hard but ended up just hitting too high and gave away so many free kicks with sloppy tackles, they gave up pretty early in the last 1/4.

The above is pretty accurate, but to be honest they looked like a team keen for the season to end so they can go on their 8 week break and possibly nervous about their exit meeting tomorrow. There was one team out there who really wanted it and Im so glad it was the Bays.

Have to thank them for taking Lokan, that move led us to Mark Stone.

Any one else notice that there is only room for one more shield on the Premiership cup. New cup required next year? Or will they archive the base and make a new base for new shields?

Congratulations Glenelg. Enjoy! The right team won.
