Brandon Ellis apparently nominated the Suns. Seems bizarre that he wouldn’t wait until after the GF

Suns gaining some legs, no huge players on the radar but some encouraging signs, I do hope they don't bottom out even more.

Willie Rioli test has come back as positive for Cannabis!!
Below is the club statement

The West Coast Eagles have recently been made aware that a sample taken from Willie Rioli has tested positive for a metabolite of cannabis.

As stipulated two weeks ago, the club’s primary concern remains the health and wellbeing of Willie. We will continue to support him through this particularly challenging time to assist him while this ongoing investigation runs its course.

The club will respect the process of the investigation into the circumstances surrounding this case and will co-operate fully with it.

We expect that these processes will take some months to complete and the club will not be in a position to make further comment until such completion.

So Rioli knew he had cannabis in his system, pretended to not be able to take a whizz for 3 hours, eventually broke the ASADA person for long enough to slip some Gatorade in and now he's going to be banned for 4 years. Could have self reported and nobody would ever know. Silly boy.

He is in a world of trouble as this is a seperate incident to to his other one.
He tested positive to cannabis after they beat us in the Elimination final. As it is a gameday test cannabis is considered performance enhancing and he could cop 4 years for it. Then he still has his other matter
