Ferg out

Weatherald and Lehmann in.

Carey, Cooper, Ross, Valente, Mennie, Zampa, Richardson, Agar make up the rest of the team

Why would we open up with Ferg?

Some terrible dismissals again, shocking shots. At least three out trying to sweep.

Not sure why we keep picking Ross, done nothing for two years. Why not play Nielsen, has not failed with bat when picked?

Look at his stance on the shot he got out on, bat was pointing towards point.

Would it be because Siddons is instructing them with their techniques?

Just watched the highlights, Weatherald getting out to the part time off spin of Renshaw when he was well set is frustrating and the worst dismissal was Ferg's I reckon, backing away and getting bowled. Zampa's was soft as butter too.

Heazlett hit them well again, Burns did it super easy again and Renshaw with runs too is important.

Exactly, Why is Carey playing and not the Captain.
Redbacks bowling is that thin without Worral.
Redbacks playing Wes Agar, who when in SA last time, played 18 District matches for 16 wickets.

From the team that lost the 2015 Matador Cup by 9 wickets to NSW

Sames Players - Ferguson Cooper Ross Lehmann Zampa Mennie Richardson (If fit add Head and Worrall) - that is 9 players in our best side

2015 2019 best side (not necessarily in batting order)

Head Head
Ludeman Carey
Ferguson Ferg
Cooper Cooper
Ross Ross
Lehmann Lehmann
Zampa Zampa
Mennie Mennie
Richardson Richardson
Andrews Agar?
Worrall Worrall

Edit. Well the formatting was destroyed when posting

It screams that SA has poor player development and isn't doing any quality recruiting.

It's the definition of madness isn't it?? Keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. Thanks Mr Nielsen and Mr Siddons. I believe whilst these two hold the positions that they currently do we will continue to be a mediocre cricket state. We've become stale and it shows. South Australian cricket is in big trouble and drastic changes need to be made, first starting with employing people from outside this state without the rose coloured glasses and make some big calls
Get that corn outta my face!!
