Crows 2018 Pre Season Camp

Postby Corona Man » Thu Sep 26, 2019 10:42 am

Ok so what really happened here.

We've heard about the Richmond Theme song, players being tied to trees, and the talking stick. All of these are lightweight compared to what I believe is about to come out.

This is from a source "within" the club.

The players at some stage on this camp were, ahem "made" to hold each others testicles. Yep, you read it right, bit of holding the ball action.

Whoever came up with this as a trust/team bonding exercise is clearly de-ranged.

No wonder the players want out. Great Balls of Fire!

Discuss.

There's whispers about that the story is about to resurface and get large, again.

Perhaps with blokes leaving the club they might feel they can be a little more frank with what occurred?

Don't you think if these things are true, the AFL integrity dept wouldn't have cleared it? They'd be up on sexual harassment charges.

So by that theory, the players lied to the AFL integrity unit to protect the Crows because they were currently playing there?

I think Eddie was also hurt by a perceived lack of support from people he would have expected it from. Hard to discuss publicly some of the things you hear about the camp. Im not sure having a topic on it prior to details being revealed/released is a great idea TBH.

I sat on what I heard for a week. I confirmed my source and confided in a forum luminary prior to posting. So yes I had/have concerns about this too. But it sounds like it’s about to come out anyway. To be honest and all BS aside, they need to deal with it and move on. Dare I say it... come clean!

Yeah sorry bud wasn't having a crack, just didn't want Wedgie/Dutchy/Diss potentially getting in strife. I've heard a few things about the camp but like you, sat on it (albeit what I'd heard wasn't as crazy lol).

No matter how bad whatever happened was, Crows really need to come out and spill the beans so this is not talked about anymore for the good of the club.

Not happy with fondling the beans you now want them to spill them aswell?

Why do they? Makes no difference to those outside the club, just gives scribes more to right about.

Perhaps some people just need to toughen up and the camp exposed how mentally weak they are

Heard from very reliable source at Club, that both Sam Jacobs and Eddie Betts told sensitive confidential information to Brett Burton, he then passed this info on to Collective Minds (whoever ran the Camp?) and they used this info in one of their exercises. Not sure what that was, but both players were absolutely shattered and pi55ed off and have never got over it. Why I cant see Burton surviving the review.
