Norwood players who announced their retirement at Thursday B&F were

Dawe
Bode
Georgiou
Smart.

Baulderstone (who was runner up to Club Champion) announced he will play on (with the Redlegs) next year.

Haven't heard anything about the other players in your post, Rocketrooster.

That is interesting because given a few comments from South fans, that i do take on board, i'm surprised we've bothered and i know i've been one to sing his praises in the past.

I did hear from someone at the club, who most certainly would know, that almost every player they have tried to recruit, the player comes back and says 'club X' can offer them a lot more.

Andrew Moore signed at Prospect.

Andrew played 60 AFL games for Port Adelaide & Richmond (2010-2016) before playing the last three seasons in the VFL for Box Hill who are affiliated with the Hawthorn Football Club.

He played 18 games for North Adelaide (2010-2013) when he was aligned to the Roosters during his time on Port Adelaide’s AFL list.

Andrew is an inside midfielder with strong ball winning ability, endurance, experience and leadership. Andrew has been Captain of Box Hill for the past two seasons, leading the Hawks to Premiership success in 2018 while claiming the club champion award in the same season.

He had another strong season in 2019, playing in 15 games and averaging 23 disposals, 4 marks, 6 clearances and 6 tackles.

Jacob Surjan (Head of Development) provided the following comments on adding Andrew to our list;
“ We are delighted to have Andrew at the Roosters for season 2020. He comes back to NAFC with great experience, playing in the VFL for the last three seasons where is also captained his club which will be invaluable for our group. Extremely competitive, Moorey will push the group to be better. Andrew is a fantastic person and will add great value both on and off the field.”

The North Adelaide Football Club welcome Andrew and his partner Kate, and we look forward to watching ‘Moorey’ in the red and white once again.

He would have to be close to 30 by now. Didnt mind him at Port, just couldn't get enough games.

Moore is 28.

Currently NAFC have only two players aged 30 on thier list (Clisby and Allmond). And now two or three aged 28/29

Partington could’ve got more elsewhere in the SANFL but chose The Bays. We don’t have the cash to splash around - remember we’re working 15% below the cap thanks to the powers that be.

Any club can splash cash around . The Cap is a joke and if the SANFL enforced it , it was Glenelgs good. The amount of the Cap is a joke to start with and that is whole different story. I am very confident that he agreed verbally to play elsewhere and decided not to due to money. I dont blame him BTW .

Could not have got more elsewhere.

The 15% reduction ended last season, same as West and South,
