Every time I’ve seen him at SANFL has always stood out as being a level above the competition. Reckon he might do a Lyons at Brisbane

Yep 37 games in 8 seasons suggests you are correct

Obviously his history does suggest it but most were saying the same about Lyon

The Crows aren’t immune from getting wrong now and then.

He's asking for $700k a year and a 4 year deal, if GC are silly enough to give him that good luck to them.

$1.6 over 4 years.

$400k a year doesn’t seem unreasonable

It's not but the $750k a year over 4 years that he was asking for certainly was.

I reckon the Crows should go hey, Gold Coast, you can have Brad and Matt Crouch, 2 proven mids and swap them for Rankine and Lukosius. After all it’s only a matter of time before they want to get the hell out of there and come home. Brad would be happy, 1 mill a year for 5 years.

The crouch brothers are loyal dominant footballers who know how to get the footy and lead the afl in possession getters (top 20)

Brad crouch is the man who'll hold up the crows premiership cup as captain in my opinion, sloane might be hard at the footy but he's a sissy ladies boy and he's the great leader to lead them to league premiers?

Anyways crows are fooked without crouch bros

Give them eddie betts, greenwood and tom lynch for lukosius/rankine.

From an outside i feel like as it stands right now the Crows are going to have some short term pain but position themselves better for the future.

No doubt their depth is going to be smashed. You can't lose Jacobs, Betts, Keath, Greenwood, Jenkins, Douglas and CEY, especially when a few dont carry much trade power and expect new draftees to step in at that the level those blokes good.

But deep down none of those blokes are in the next premiership side and they would have freed up a hell of alot of salary cap to which i think they will land Grundy next season.

I love it when the term "in their next premiership side" is used, by any club, assuming you will indeed win one again.
