Lektra Guissepe ran a very handy 2nd today. 2nd was as good as a win, as the winner had all the advantages today.
We go to MB sunday for a 4/5 390m. No hope there to be honest.

Lektra Bear just ran 3rd in its first start for us at Bendigo in r4.
Didnt have high hopes as such, just need to work out its weight etc. But looks like it will win a few races

Saturday @ The Meadows
Race 7 box 6 Mister Harlewood first up over the 600mtrs here and looks to have a class edge on these. I’d say back him in to win, but I’ll be happier to watch and catch him next time out.

Race 9 box 5 Miss Bellawood also over the 600mtrs, has seen the track and trip and is racing well recently. Has been improving every run and I’m confident she can bounce in front and be in the finish here. Will be a good each way bet.

#1,3 show best pace early. #1 will weaken at finish compare to #3. Plenty of wide runners here though. #8 will sweep down to rails after slow jump and should find room on rail to run on strong. #2 can spear off at t1 and 4-7 stay wide early.

Inside box should be too strong for these here, plenty of Tier 3 runners in. And looks like only 4 can challenge for lead early. Will be too strong on rails. 2 Can miss the kick early and may want to track wider, but will be running on. 3 wants the rails early and may just get it so can do best racing there. 4 likely to lead, but will be weakening. 6 would of been much better rating, but 7 outside it is mad railer and likely to cause some damage there.

#4 should be leading here and will enjoy middle of track. Does tend to be better over the tighter bends, so will be looking to hold onto lead.
#3 will want rails shortly after start, and 1,2 will be looking to go wide a bit early. This may thwart their chances a bit. But 3 has class over these. 8 returning from break, enjoys it here and will stay wide and have plenty of room throughout to do best. 6 runs on ok.

Well yesterday in the midst of a long day at work and then going out I missed Lektra Bear who ran 2nd. Woke up this morning to the strangest dream, no not quite a dream but Takis Bale won for us in r12 at Cannington last night, probably 12.30am this morning at around the $20.
Missed both and didnt punt on either, but happy they performed well! Bugger this working weekends rubbish

#7 gets the dream draw after funding plenty of trouble recently as 6 will begin well and head to rails with 4 giving 7 perfect cart across. 8 will stay out wide early and then motor home and can run time. 1 does race well from box 1 and here, but recent;y hasn't shown enough. 3 may get outside the 1 or just head early which will be interesting for the 1. 3 does motor home.

Plenty of early pace in this race, but not many who will power through any trouble. Inside boxes are just perfectly suited and 7 will enjoy the race style as will stay outwide and then motor home on straight, hopefully the 8 doesn't smash it early.
