Absolutely - if your definition of 'traditional' means the years between about 1974 to 1985.

Also, last year's total finals attendance was abut 2,400 less than this year's, and the GF had about 1,200 more people, so its hardly an overwhelming endorsement (at least in terms of crowds).

When was the last time the Magarey Medallist did not win his own B&F?

White was outstanding in the finals, must have helped him get over the line in the end!
