Argh the Redbacks, Game 1, Season 1, Session 1........season over  :D

Would love to see Renshaw ton up and become the favourite for what should be the vacant two opening batting spots.

Can i get odds on Harris going big against the Redbacks and being overlooked for the test squad?

I reckon there is a fair bit of flat track bully about Harris. Not sure he will ever cut it against decent sides on wickets outside of Oz

Not a lot he can do about it, bats on the pitches that are produced.
Maybe he could ask the bowlers to tape up one side of the ball?

I agree but i'm not losing any sleep if selectors go with someone else like a Renshaw who i believe one day will be a very good test batsmen.

I hope Harris makes it but just making an observation i believe there is alot of Dave Warner about the way he bats, which a bit like Warner hasn't held up overseas.

The bias shown on this site by several people calling for Carey to be the keeper for Australia should watch some of his highlights from today! His keeping is not up to it yet, his keeping during the World Cup was terrible, the number of mistakes he made was huge. And is averaging in the 20's in Shield cricket which is hardly good enough for promotion either.

His missed stumping of Harris off Zampa just then was ordinary, as if the players heads were low enough already!

Predictions for this game lol? Is it sad I think VIC will be 400 by stumps, bat to 600 and roll the Redbacks twice within 2 days, Holland taking a bagful?
