Apparently she lived with dimentia for the latter part of life, which could've made it worse, wondering why the kids aren't coming to see her...

Back from Port Douglas today, this time yesterday I'd had an hour and a half swim and a few cans.

Hearing today that my last remaining uncle or aunt on my dad's side of the family died on Monday after his mobility scooter veered off of the platform at Osborne train station.

What makes it even worse, it was the first time he had taken it out for a decent ride.

Yeah, Uncle Graham, he lived with his son who has apparently been inconsolable and didn't have any numbers to contact other family members, he isn't on FB and is a bit of a loner who simply goes to work, gets home and gets stuck into his homebrew that they do together.

My uncle was an absolute comedian growing up, a very funny man.

Cheers, I'm just knocked for 6 at the moment.

He featured in a dream of mine only a couple of nights ago, how strange.

Hearing about the Adelaide bloke and his Mrs who fell from the zip line walk up in the Daintree. On holidays, living the life, terrible.

Mrs Boon and Miss Boon did that very walk about 2 years ago. Not me, prisoner of gravity here.
