Thought we were going to snatch it when we got it back to 9 in the last with plenty of time left. Oh well not to be. Smashed in the midfield and had no answer for Agars and Trembath who were kicking them out their ass, especially Agars

So Angaston got an extra 2 points for next year and have just signed Scott Lewis.
Early indications might be a Kapunda v Angaston gf.
Not too many other signings been announced.

Angaston might lose some of their locals, with a few reportedly heading back to centrals.

The 2 extra points given to Angaston sets a dangerous precedent. If the points cap is s'posed to even the competition, how exactly does this fit.
Extra points to a GF team - used to secure another ex league player -and the hardship reason is(it's a doozy) - he has friends at the club?
Are the other clubs going to be offered the same deal? Hang on that won't work.......Ango are supposed to get less than teams below them; and he's only a league player. He was willing to sign at other clubs in the BLG before the new"friends' rule.
No wonder the coach is talking up another grand final in the papers.
And let's not get to the subject of the salary cap.

Haha
There is something seriously wrong with a system where a club can lose 6 points in a year going from 15 to 9. You would need to sack one player to be able to move into the next season with the same players.
Freeling, Barossa and Kapunda have been getting extra points for years based on the population of their townships, Angaston is no different. They have been bottom for years.
As for the salary cap I hope there's a lot of cash payments going on under the table by all clubs

Some of the clubs you mention have been like Angaston at he bottom for long periods. They didn't get the bonus prize of the 'friends' RULE - surely a nonsense of a reason to make a strong team stronger. There's no hardship there.
Lewis at any of these clubs, which he considered before the BLG present would've many any one of them stronger - they don't have 4 ex league players or a host of those back from centrals - thus a more even league' Your coaches comments were arrogant in this situation.
And anyway, is Ango such a good club players like these are willing to play for less than they would've asked at other clubs. Open up the books at all clubs or are you just the same as other clubs when it comes to salary caps? Winners are grinners, but it depends how you win. Anyway the precedent is still a dangerous one.
And isn't fair to lose points if you're suddenly so good you go from bottom to GF.

Bit of talk around the town that Angaston maybe able to squeeze Sam Colqhoun and Jack Hannath in under the salary cap, the locals got together and decided they would forego their free schnitzels to accommodate them.
Both zero pointers if you were wondering.
Home grand final for the Panthers next year too, you Kapunda blokes may as well save your pennies

OK you win. You're funny......a little one eyed though.
We'll be right. Talking to Joffa Giles at the moment. Would you clear Colquoun to play with his Sturt mates here though?
