Thanks for contacting us regarding a water meter fault. We aim to assess within 18 days.

18 days?

If the leak is on their side of the meter, as in the water pipe attaching the meter, they won’t fix it unless it is pissing out.

If it is the pipe attaching after/at the tap, good luck with getting them to fix it.

It's the connection between the tap and the meter. Excellent.

Good luck with that.
Report back next year when they reply to you ;)

Mine is leaking at the meter tap which doesn’t cost me anything as the meter isn’t reading it yet.
I logged it with SAWater and they told me to let it water the grass as it wasn’t costing me anything.
Too bad about preserving water though.

I enquired about getting my meter elevated 100-150mm as the reading is just above the soil line. The robbers estimated $800-$1000.

Indian dude named “David Miller” just rang my office from the NBN Technical Team.
I put him on hold for 10mins then listened to his spiel and told him we don’t even have NBN here yet.
He wasn’t happy that I wasted his time, pot and kettle mate

As soon as I pick up that it's a scammer I start panting then as I'm *puffing* "I'm glad you called, what are you wearing?"

Usually moves them along pretty quick.

After my well documented Melbourne Cup trifecta win/loss yesterday afternoon I've had three people at work this morning all joking and jovial skipping about asking me if I'm laughing about it yet. How ******* thick would you have to be? ******* morons.

Ouch!

Just on that, have the rules changed? I always thought that if 4th protested against 2nd and it was upheld then 2nd would become 3rd and 3rd become 2nd, it stumped a few of us yesterday.

I had one sheila say "Gee's your eyes look shocking" I replied with "You should see them from this side".

They've all left me alone this morning apart from the occasional courtesy call out to see that I'm still awake.
