Just when you think there's nothing worth viewing on free-to-air TV outside the football season, channel 9 delivers the following:

Brave programming decision by Nine, they've definitely got some balls. If Kerry Packer was still in charge, however, the programming manager would probably get the sack.

Tomorrow.

Sleeping in til about 9.00. Studying the form for an hour. Light the weber about noon. Lid off the first beer at 12.05, and settle in to a day of food, drinking & a punt.

Asleep on the lounge by 7.00pm

This is actually my planned daily routine in retirement as well.

Yeah, I was gonna use that as an example initially, 2 hours 40 by car and it's a pretty direct route.

Sheesh!!!

Was speaking to a couple of the pilots this morning and he commented that today’s flight was the equivalent of being stuck in third gear during peak hour!
They don’t get to “test” them out as often as they like especially in built up areas but on the way down here they were able to open it up a bit to around 1400 km/hr.
Top speed they are capable of just over 1900 km/hr
