Sadly there are most likely a few more Josh Glenn’s in the competition (as with the general society).

Clubs need to set standards and do their research.

Would be plenty of guys in ammo and country leagues on the stuff. I guess when he was taking the stuff he didn’t see himself playing SANFL that season

Pending court case alone should have been enough to make Norwood think twice about signing him on.

A very talented footballer. Will surely be ruing his choices. His family will be important right now.

I wonder how this outcome would have affected his court case had the time frames aligned

Belting someone knowing your on the roids probably ups the level of the assault you would hope.

Ends up at Norwood after the season has started and lists are pretty well finalised and plays for free.

Has always had trouble committing for any period of time, had a bout 3 clearances in one season playing cricket.

Going to the Gold Coast should've been the pinnacle for him, he needed to break away from his mates and focus fully on footy, he has a great family around him and an enormous amount of talent.

The fight at the Exchange was totally out of character, I've known him for 10 to 15 years and he's never been aggressive and I've never heard of any such incidents.

It's all history now though, it's a learning curve, not many get the opportunity to play at the top level and make a comfortable living out of it, not many get to earn themselves a comfortable tax free earning each week for a couple of hours running around a park, Josh has lost that privilege now, he has to wear that, a big change from the skinny kid playing on the ball and kicking a shitload of goals for Elizabeth.

Is this the sequence of events?

Glenn signs at Willaston
Belts someone, willaston sack him
Glenn signs at Norwood
Glenn dobs in Willaston for paying him sign ons which he accepted
Willaston get whacked by Sanfl
Glenn gets off scot free and keeps money he accepted
He gets target tested by asada (possibly by a mystery tip off, possibly from his previous club)
Glenn gets banned for 4 years.

Sounds like justice for everyone here, both parties that did the wrong thing, willaston and Glenn get punished.
Don't have a problem with this at all!
Much better than the original punishment where only the club was punished and not the individual
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

So what you're saying is that Glenn is unlikey to offered Life Membership of Willaston FC, anytime soon....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
