How Australia Got It's Mojo.
Russell Howcroft from Gruen spends an hour looking at an ad agency that created the TV sound track of the 70s and 80s. Great memories.
Check it out.
Yeah, this look good. Thanks for the reminder, Boon - you ought to be congratulated.
Mojo, what a pairing!

Like Mr Boon, I recommend all who recall those classic ads to check this show out, it's a wonderful walk down memory lane, but also acts as a record of Australian society and how it saw itself in the 1970s and 1980s.
I also dare anyone who watches it to not start singing all the Mojo ad jingles immediately. I was doing it involuntarily for about two hours last night.

So far watched all of Oz, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and currently watching The Wire. Stream the lot and no ads or FTA bullshit. I'm a big HBO fan and have an eye out for a few other series that everyone has probably watched years ago. I didn't pay any attention to anyone so no spoilers either GEAR.
Anything that starts out good and jumps the shark I give a miss. I saw GoT 8 at the same time as everyone else and while it wasn't as good as earlier seasons i thought it was a little rushed rather than straight up bad. I've heard bad things about the way Dexter finishes up so I'm not keen to get into that one. I'm more of a true crime guy anyway.

Season one of True Detective is awesome stuff. Fargo is a great as well, captures the spirit of the original movie.

Finished Les Norton and enjoyed that also. David Wenham is a great actor.

Mr Inbetween is my favourite show, my only criticism is the episodes are too short.
The last couple of episodes of the first season were the best tv ever.

I'm still watching, seems, like it's building to something big soon, hoping for an all out war between all the main characters/groups and the Whisperers.LMA wrote:Anyone still enduring The Walking Dead?
