no sanctions or anything, but the swans and eagles didn't break any rules... It's just the AFL changing sh*t for the sake of it cause the clubs are too smart.

Recruiters make plenty of mistakes. I think the story was that he was fairly overweight in his draft year and was dead last in all the sprint and endurance tests. Plenty of recruiters just thought he didn’t have the dedication to make it at AFL. Carlton took a risk and it has paid off in spades

As a Blues supporter I still wonder how he slipped through. There was no 'knee' or 'shoulder' that would push him down the order. It does look like he kept growing though.

I remember the Blues recruiters being over the moon to get him with 13 though - and now I know why!

I mentioned above that the knock on him was that he was overweight and performed badly at the draft camp
