The "find my phone" app.

Daughter left her phone on the train on Saturday, we were able to monitor it's wherabouts and then got a friend to drive to Salisbury train station, run on to the train and back off it to collect it.

I've often wondered if the same packet just keeps getting re-gifted, I'm not sure I've ever seen an open packet.

Why is it that we only ever buy leg ham at Christmas?

We usually go through two or three a year, usually the Xmas bone* gets frozen and we munch through another across Easter (plenty of days off and lunches at home ) and both bones get used for the base of the first batch of pea and ham soup when winter hits.

Winning $180 at Poker Saturday night, even if I did have to go to Birkenhead for the night. Was a bit worried when I heard rapid fire gunshots, until we realised it was fireworks.

We went to her favourite Winery (and dream wedding venue) Barristers Block for lunch yesterday and before we left we went for a walk around the place and I stopped her and popped the question. I would of done it at the table we ate at in the nice front garden area but I had to wait and do it in a secluded area as she has said she didn't want to be proposed to a in public area where people can see it lol.

Love the cricket references haha! She certainly doesn't love the game but doesn't hate it, she doesn't mind T20 so likes going to the Big Bash. I don't care if she likes or hates it, it's a passion of mine (like footy, video games and movies) and as long as she accepts my passions then that's all I can ask for. Her family is a football family, her parents and grandparents are/were heavily involved with Greenacres Football Club so she has grown up with a family that has a huge sporting passion/interest so understands how I feel about the game and my beloved club.

Mate, Mrs Boon barely watched any of my 230+ games and wouldn't know if my reply was bullshit or not when she occasionally asks "Whose winning?" and I reply "Off side, starting the period again".

Hahahaha the old who's winning question, probably the most annoying question a cricketer can be asked I reckon.

My missus comes to watch me play footy when she can but has said she'll never come to a game of cricket unless it's a Grand Final and I can understand that, the atmosphere of local footy is so much better than local cricket. It may just be me but I still can't understand how blokes partners can come and watch a days play of cricket for 4/6 hours on a Saturday arvo. Surely there's better things they can be spending there Saturday afternoon doing than watching us chasing or hitting a small red ball around without knowing the various rules and all the small important parts that make the game what it is?

My wife was never a big watcher of my cricket or footy, although she did come to my last ever footy game, I did my knee and got stretchered off with game held up for a few minutes, she didn't even notice until I came hobbling out of the change room post game

Wife watched 1 game of cricket that I played in (my last), scored 94 so I think I might not let her come again if I decide to don the whites again.
