Seems the appointment didn't last long... Pretty poor from Crabb.

Why the hell would anyone stay with so much uncertainty surrounding their future, and with their reputation clearly in tatters. Few weeks ago they didnt even look like they'd have a club.

Comment was more from reading/hearing the line about a new born baby and running his own plumbing business... Whether the Cove issues came to light or not these two factors were happening anyway. So to say "Crabb decided that with a newborn child, more responsibility with his plumbing business and publicity and uncertainty about Cove’s football future would have been too much for a new coach." is a bit of a stretch.

Should have just said the last comment and been done with it.

Considering he's signed and Playing for Penola a 4 hour drive away, compared to a 5 minute drive up the hill to Cove, pretty clear cut that family and the business weren't any part of his Cove decision.

Pretty gutless effort really.. Maybe cove should hold him to the contract he signed? He did tell the club if he played it would only be at Cove.. But then again if that is the charater of the person better off without him.

A cove person commenting on someones character, Hahahah ..... 15 years at a struggling SANFL club early in his career coulda easily pulled the pin and gone and played elsewhere. He’s part of the core group that got the club back to a lot better spot that it’s in now. Seriously wouldn’t find a better person in society let alone football. Maybe if you spent more time sorting your rabble out instead of potting people on a footy forum he would still be there

It does however highlight the lure of the KNTFL. The recruiting by most clubs in that league over the last decade has been next level compared to the rest.

But keep on punching Vics01 - always gets me excited when a Vics01 post is showing as the most recent post in the SFL thread.

Two from Porties SFL to Pongy GSFL I see, Trevena and Kelly.

One of the better kicks in SFL is Trevena.

Last one to leave....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
