Gurinder Sandhu run out for 51 in bizarre circumstances when he was comfortably gonna make his ground but just casually jogged over the crease line without grounding his bat and the throw was a direct hit from the boundary which caught him in mid air with nothing grounded although he was well in.
     As big as dumb as dogshit brain fade you'd see from a batsman

Ventured into Karen Rolton Oval yesterday, fantastic place to watch state cricket. Redbacks should play there more often IMO.

Can anyone tell me why the Eastern side "hill" isn't grassed & has shrubs on it instead? If it was grass would be best seat in the house. Seems bizarre it isn't.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Isn't it because it is too steep to be mowed?

This may be way off the mark but I heard a rumour that they did try to make it less steep initially but found a s...load of asbestos in the old landfill that has been there for umpteen years. Too difficult and expensive to remove and would have delayed the whole project by plenty so it was left buried deep there. Hence the "shrubbery" instead of turf so people won't sit there - out of sight out of mind.

Spot on MC, heard asbestos was the reason too. The original plan was for it all to be grassed, would have been the best place to watch cricket. Very, very disappointing outcome in the end. Cost was going to be huge to rectify the issue.

So like the majority of SA projects instead of moving to a better/safer location we just do it half-assed....

Geez Cooper looks in good nick, actually looks a bit trimmer than previous years.

Siddle just went for 22 off the 49th
