Showing some empathy would be in order, wouldn't it?

I did have empathy, I mentioned it was sad.

I'd like to see some good come out of his death and prevent further deaths too.

Zane Kirkwood has just ridden from Perth to Adelaide to raise funds for charity, a road where road trains fly by every few minutes, if that can be done safely then a dual lane road north of Adelaide should be fine if road rules are followed.

Road rules aren't always followed and there's so many terrible drivers and bike riders on the road.
Of course if we could get rid of all the terrible drivers and riders and somehow miraculously ensure all road rules are always adhered too then I agree roads could be safely shared. Will never happen though, we all know that.

Fires, part of the world we live in but nonetheless knowing people, properties and lively hoods are at risk makes me feel sick to the stomach.

I spent several summers of my youth in Coobowie, Edithburgh and Yorketown and I know several families that still live in the area.

I don't pray, but I hope like buggery they and their world's are ok.

The people who make those decisions from behind a desk never have to think twice about it either.

Sorry to hear mate, it's hard to imagine the intensity of the situation when you hear that the whole of Edithburgh was told to evacuate to the beach, real lump in your throat sort of stuff.
