India about to defeat Bangladesh

When was the last time India won a test in India without a spinner getting a wicket.

Poms couldn't buy a wicket, but Santner comes out and bowls grenades.... he's had a massive day.

He has 3/6! England 3/55, trail by 207 at the end of day four.

India win by an innings and 46 runs
Bangladesh second innings 195
Rahim 74
Yadav 5/53
Sharma 4/56
This win is India's forth in a row by an innings, they are the first team to achieve that.

Never, it was the first time it's ever happened.

Changing times

Fair to say I could see them dominating test cricket for a while, especially whilst Australia are just above average without being brilliant

During the NZ V EG test match
There was a discussion about Ian Smiths test batting
Ian Smith, NZ wicket keeper 1980-1990s has made 2 centuries in Test cricket
One was 113 not out against England
This is what one of the commentators had to say about that ton

" That would have been against a good England bowling attack.
I'd imagine, I would say, Willis, Cowans, Botham, Larwood."

I'll be interested to see how Wagner goes over here, don't think his bowling short style will work against batters that aren't afraid of the ball bouncing above knee height.
Dave Warner will be missed!

Poms win toss and send Kiwis into bat. Some interesting selections by England. Pope selected as wicket keeper and no spinner. It wasn't long ago that England were playing 3 keepers (Bairstow, Butler and Foakes) in the same team. Now Pope gets the gig and he's not even a regular keeper. England batting looks very fragile.
