Yeah it's a really good thing too. Just means also our B grade should be quite strong as well. Can't wait for season 2020 to start.

Yeah coz your B grade has been real weak in recent seasons..

Big loss for Houghton, Sean buss heading to bute with old mate chad Bourke. Will be hard to cover that kicked 43 goals & Slots into the midfield.

Also am I the only one who thinks you're a bit confused - list Carlton as your fav team but your username is PortPower2018.

Do you change your AFL sides like you do your AdFL sides? ;)

12 on the track before the first break in Pre Season means your clubs in big trouble

It's December and this is D7.

Numbers don't mean anything right now.

This attitude is beginning to shit me of late.. I see/hear all these clubs who talk about success and wanting to progress through the divisions and blah blah blah but then the fall back line is "it's only D7 or D6" etc.. if you want to be successful then you've got to pay the price and put the effort in - regardless of the division.

The other part to that is frankly I think it's a insulting to those who are genuinely having a crack to hear people say "oh well you're only playing D7", or those who sign up at clubs and instantly think they'll dominate because it's D7 and aren't shy to tell people.

Those who take the attitude of "it's only Div 7" will constantly flounder in those divisions.

Bottom line, 12 on the track regardless of the time of year is pathetic.

The lower divisions are getting better each year in quality IMO as average/good/fringe higher division players get paid to play the lower divisions.

Last years Div 4 was crazy good

However I’m not sure preseason in November/ December is a good idea when the season doesn’t begin until April
July 11th 2012....

Attending a few trainings before Xmas break doesn't get you match fit and doesn't win premierships.
