Carey comes in ahead of Nielsen and Drew.

So Drew on debut bats at 7?

Thought the same, a specialist number 7 always seems odd to me but Carey should be at 5.
Bosisto mainly batted 6 or 7 for WA, I thought 4 is too high for him?

Carey goes for 73 and we are 4/185.

Need another partnership here. 69 behind. A 100 run lead will see us in the box seat.

Conway 5/15

Anyone see the celebrations by Conway, He certainly has a habit of carrying on when he takes a wicket, but three of the four got massive send offs.

Considering two of them (Neser and Stanlake) are going to be his Strikers team mates this season, could be interesting first training together!

Conway is definitely an animated character and seems like he gets some massive white line fever but it looked like there's a bit of history between him and Stanlake with the send off he gave Billy?

Missing off for mine, Doolan didn't offer a shot though so it always looks worse!

CA will attempt to reschedule the Shield match between Victoria and WA, with rules stipulating it should now be played in WA, but if it can’t be rescheduled the two teams will split the points.

Was not aware this was an option but I think it is the way to go.

WA should just be awarded the points, that will get Cricket Victoria to get their shit together, the MCG is the biggest stadium in Australia, it holds the most prestigious test on the calendar, it is simply not good enough.
