Finding out my favourite Leeds Rhinos player, Rob Burrows, 2 years after retiring has announced he's been diagnosed with Motor neurone disease.
Awful disease that doesn't discriminate. :(

Got caught up in the traffic jam near the Birk yesterday morning so hit FB when I got home and some of the reports from eyewitnesses were pretty gruesome .. I believe the Trucky was charged with negligent driving or the like. Terrible situation for all involved, and those that love them.

It is devastating that peoples lives become forever changed. The only positive that comes out of it is the sense of national unity that comes in times of crisis where so many people help one another out (shame it takes tragedy for it to happen)

What a day.

My son's conditioned worsened overnight and now he has to have another op this afternoon meaning we wont be home for Christmas, while stressing about MRI's and doctors in and out all day I'm getting evacuation texts from the CFS as our house is in danger.

Give me a f****** break.

Easy for me to say mate, but the house pales in significance to the health of your loved ones. Hope your lad is ok and your family here are out of harms way. Horrific run you’re having mate, thoughts with you all!

I was told by a police officer I know that the cyclists head was decapitated, horrible indeed.
