Imagine copping both him and Joel Wilson in the one test match.

You wouldn’t think so.
Let the batters have some fun

Having not much of a break between this test and Sydney I’d be more inclined to give the bowlers as much of a break in between as possible, hopefully end the game a day and a half early?
I’d enforce it in other words.

Will be interesting to see what Paine does but you wouldn't think he'd enforce it and put the Kiwis back out in the field to drain more energy out of their attack.
146 runs needed to avoid the follow on.

Geez if I was CA I’d be paying Cummins $3.9m NOT to play IPL. This kid is the biggest weapon we have

Pat Cummins dismissal of Henry Nicholls is his first LBW wicket in his last 70 test wickets. Only 6 of his 138 test wickets have been LBW and his last LBW wicket was Q. de Kock in March 2018.

Ian Smith commentating on Fox summed that up well. Said Southee is way too passionate wanting reviews off his own bowling and has too much say, had a real dig at him!

Yeah that review was all Southee's idea and called it himself.

Lead of 347 at tea, batting still looks quite tough and makes the scoring slow.

Williamson gave the final go ahead for the review. He is the skipper and he is the one with the final say so the buck stops with him.
Weak Captaincy to win the toss and bowl and weak captaincy to let his opening bowler talk him into wasting a review
