Salt finally makes runs.

He will be the type that his batting comes off once every 5 or 6 innings. Expect one more fifty for rest of tournament and failures in both finals!

I think your assessment is spot on
Even in T20 that's not good enough from an opener. At the very least should get a score (30+) every 2nd game maybe even 2 out of 3 games

It appears we have over estimated Salt
I hope it was only a 1 year contract, memories of Simmons are coming back.
Lets open with Rashid.
Short just wastes balls that Carey/Head could be facing, get them in at 3.
We really are playing with 9, White isn't needed, play an extra bowler to give us some more flexibility. All games are won by the top 5 bats, play more bowlers. Having a long tail in T20 doesn't matter

Doesn't Carey leave for the ODI side soon which means Head comes back in.

So 2 changes will need to be made as Nielsen will come in as keeper

Surely Neser gets released from mixing the cordial and plays next game.

Weatherald
Lehmann / Salt
Carey
Wells
Khan - pinch hitter, drops down if in poo
Nielsen / White - in deep shit if we need them
Neser
Agar/ Valente - I think they are too similar to play both
Siddle
Stanlake
O’Connor / Conway

Carey replaced by trav

6 bowlers means you avoid having to bowl out someone going the journey

White is basically captaining the team and not making any other contribution (apart from being a good catch)

White should be opening with Weatherald.
Piss Salt off.
He can bat 6 if we really need.

Neser wouldnt have played a game of cricket for 3 weeks now would have he?

Im guessing with the concussion substitute rules now that they need to hold onto a 12th man who can bat and not just use local grade cricketers.

Seems that with all the unknown imports, player swaps & up and comers the markets are vulnerable early.
You cop a few losses on the way but it's been profitable.
Ladbrokes have, until the year a pay out special in the first 6 overs, 3 wickets or 50 runs & they cough up. Cost them tonight.

Anyone playing along?
Dogs have won 9 of the last 10 & level pegged early, todays game looks like stuffing up though.
Merry Christmas
Hey soccer you owe us 45million.
