Very similar action to Johan Botha, so fair enough.

Would’ve got 40K if it was an evening game, terrible programming.

Work offered the wife and I box tickets for the game on Sunday, it’s probably got some credence being an afternoon game on a Sunday, a weekday is just plain stupid and proof that there’s too many matches.

They tried to make it a Family Fun Day type of thing as they showed Toy Story 4 on the big screen after the match.

Like the AFL they aren't going to be less matches now TV deals are done, they need to make it over less time to keep the interest therefore afternoon matches are the new norm. I wonder if they had a 5pm start then it would attract more wondering down after work. Then play a Perth game afterwards so still 2 games in a day.

I was there and it lacked atmosphere because we played badly.
18,500 is a good crowd, and I am happy with going to a mid week afternoon game in school holidays.

BBL is not just for 9-5 workers, and as I work at night, it gave me a chance to see it.

Channel surfing and just seen Wade dismissal....

Silly rules for a silly game.
Just bring back the fence and he would have been out comfortably...

If the rule allows that then the rule is wrong.

So can you start outside the boundary and jump in the air as you catch it and then throw it to someone else before you land?

your last point of contact with the ground before your first contact with the ball must be within the field of play.

Silly rule change though, but i guess they need these fancy juggling catches for crowd appeal.

100% correct decision.

I think there was a catch in the IPL years ago where the fielder/s were so far beyond the rope that caused that change in law
