Got the space but getting the reclining chairs up there could be a problem!

What are peoples thoughts on SFL decision to charge a $10 registration fee for Juniors. Is it justifiable or just a cash grab?

It isn't the SFL's choice... https://sanfl.com.au/rego/

Yep every league is gonna have to do it soon enough. The SANFL are doing away with affiliation fees and bringing this in instead.

Its not a matter of soon enough. Every player in every league in SA has to pay the $10 (junior) or $15 (senior) levy as part of the SportsTG registration process for the 2020 season. Even SANFL players have to pay it.

DTH , correct but that does not mean that the conversation needs to be asked where and how this decision was made and where is the money going ?

If the levi is now not to be collected from leagues (clubs) why are clubs still to be charged from said leagues?

I believe the CFL are to create HUBS? what is a hub ?

I believe the CFL are to create another full time position to manage HUB?

Smells of a money grab exercise until this is transparent .

Couldn't agree with you more Shoe Boy. My belief is they should be subsidizing junior fees. not cash grabbing an extra $10.

Junior participation is so critical to our game, this is very short sighted IMO.

The Goolwa / Port Elliot FC are looking for trial matches on March 21st and 28th. Unfortunately due to cricket we can’t play on Goolwa Oval. Ideally looking for A’s, B’s, senior colts (under 17.5) and junior colts (under 14.5). Please contact Fraser Cooper on 0439854453 or Ryan Bridges on 0414379528

Could be a reflection on the state of the SFL league, not a league of choice ATM as far as players and coaches.

And let’s not forget that it was a very late decision so one would think all the ‘good quality’ seasoned coaches would already have been appointed... FHFC were behind the 8 ball from as soon as he resigned... They are a quality team though with good depth so I have no doubt they’ll be around the mark again.

I believe there was plenty of applicants and a handful were interviewed, including some very experienced coaches.

Thanks for all of your concern, but I reckon we will be fine ;)
