2020 Predictions

Talk on the national game

Re: 2020 Predictions

I give Sydney 10 wins at best.
I’ll make a bet with you, Wubbsy. For every game you win over 10, I’ll give you $100.
For every win short of 10, you give me $100.
For example, Sydney end up with 14 wins, I owe you $400. End up with only 7 wins, you owe me $300.
Over to you...

Problem(s) - game style, Buddy a year older and fixture. The fixture Brisbane had helped them no end in 2019.

Where will your mob finish and why? 9th. The new Richmond. We'll improve but depth is still a concern. Fixture is still pretty difficult.

Your top 8.

Not us, nor Essendon, nor Adelaide, nor Port.

Your Grand finalists.

Richmond vs Collingwood

Who will rise up the ladder most?

Melbourne. Most of their team were in for surgery pre season of 2019. Draw will be easier and they'll improve no issues.

Who will drop down the ladder most?

Brisbane. Easiest draw in the comp last season and it will be hard to back it up. Most teams will work a way through their structure.

Double ups against Geelong, Collingwood, Hawthorn, North and the Suns helps. You'd think 1-1 against Geelong and Collingwood and perhaps 2-0 over the others if they play true to 2019 form.

I agree though, I think they rode a bit of a wave last year and the loss of Hodge will be hard to replace, Birchall a handy addition but I don't see him in the same light as Hodge, will be interesting how the back half goes without the general back there and coupled with the opposition looking at their game plan will make it hard for them to emulate the 16 wins of '19 I think.

I know they're not what they used to be, but hard to see them or any other side going 15 losses on the bounce in this day and age.

Yep, Gold Coast. Worst club we've seen for a while (should be a bit better this season) - Still be surprised if any club goes 15L on the trot

Can we see the Sydney wins?

Nah i closed the tab 8)

i know some supporters are actually deluded and talk nonsense about their teams chances but surely you are taking the piss. Your actually thinking Sydney will make the top 4. Buddy already injured Kennedy and parker getting older and your defense not getting any younger. Will Nick Smith come back to the player he was. I see you have Carlton finishing bottom 2. Carlton will be big improvers this year. You talk about the west Coast 06 premiership is tainted have been on what they were in 06. maybe buddy gave you an 8Ball

Didn't Nick Smith retire or am I thinking of someone else?
