Certainly sounds like it.

Shaping up as a big year for Patton with the Mr. Bungle reunion shows this month, FNM returning in June plus rumours of a new album too, new Tetema album in April plus Dead Cross were in the studio in December recording their new album and a new Tomahawk album has been done for a few years just waiting for Patton to add his vocals but I dare say that will probably be held over until next year now and maybe the new Dead Cross album too.

Giving this one a few decent listens given the upcoming tour, kind of overlooked it when it come out in 2015. There's a few FNM fans here, what are your thoughts, and where do you think it sits with respect to the rest of their catalogue?

The worst of the Patton albums although I really like this version of Matador.

All of my favourite bands- Violent Soho, The Smith Street Band, Pearl Jam, Dropkick Murphys, Green Day and New Found Glory have released new songs and are releasing or have released new albums around this time and in the not too distant future. Good times!

I've been listening to Straight Ahead by Pennywise all week in preparation for tomorrow night, keen!

If I were to rank Faith No More's albums from best to worst, it would be:

Angel Dust (My all-time favourite album)
King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime
Album of the Year
Introduce Yourself
Sol Invictus
The Real Thing (An unpopular opinion, I know)
We Care a Lot
(Although 'The Jungle' and 'Arabian Disco' are among my favourite FNM songs)

I like 'Matador', it's one of my favourite tracks from the album. I actually prefer it to Album of the Year, an album that never really resonated with me. Still behind Angel Dust, King for a Day, and the Real Thing, though.

'Matador' and 'From the Dead' would have to be in my all-time FNM top 20, for sure.

For some reason, The Real Thing (aside from a few songs) never resonated with me all that much.

Album of the Year is a special album for me, because 'Last Cup of Sorrow' is the song that made me a Faith No More nerd. I still think it's pretty underrated.

I always had a soft spot for Chuck Mosley too.

That's funny because I consider AOTY their best album and really dislike Angel Dust which is loved by a lot of FNM fans.

I also used to have a low opinion of the Chuck albums but having bought the remastered version of We Care A Lot from a few years ago I completely fell in love with that album.

I bought the double LP version of We Care a Lot when it came out, and it still gets regular play here.

Chuck had a certain charm to his vocals, and I was lucky enough to have a couple of chats with him before he passed.

FNM in a lot of ways were ahead of their time.

Very sad what happened to Chuck after those 'comeback' shows with FNM in 2016.

Like that movie actor that was a junkie too once they stop using (Chuck had been clean for a few years) and decide to try it again they start off at the amount they were using before they stopped not realising their body can't handle that amount now and unintentionally OD.
