I think my timeline is accurate, but this would be Ben Nason's football journey in the last 8-10 years....

Salisbury
Port Magpies
Central District
Richmond
Central District
Glenelg
Salisbury North
Central District
Woodville West Torrens
Central District

Love Ben's commitment to trying to play SANFL football. Very refreshing in this day and age, i have a lot of respect for the bloke.

Nice to have him back at Centrals but you wouldnt think on paper we become any better for his inclusion but maybe Andrews who has made it clear he wants more outside footballers can have him firing.

Did he actually play league at the Eagles?
He was great in the seconds but 2019 if he couldn’t make that league side does leave questions

Good to have Ben back. As a Salisbury lad, Central is his natural footy home,

Can't say when, but as for where...my money's on the deep end of the Aquadome.

I'm glad to have Ben back. You have to admire his desire to play League football.

Yet another jumper for Ben, I think he must have a larger collection than Eugene Warrior. ;) :)

He has worn four different numbers with Central 39, 15, 4 & 23
Richmond 47, 22
Glenelg 12
Woodville West Torrens 18

Anyway welcome back Ben, I hope to see you in the League team.

I hope you have a good lawyer as that is Libel.

Do you think it is funny? Was it really necessary? I'm sick of these stereotypes.

Also, you should look in your own back yard considering the 2 teams you support.

It's tradition, isn't that what you guys want? If it makes you feel better I've been on the receiving end of many a stereotypical taunt from Northern Suburbs clubs.

Ironically, if he was referring to Salisbury FC, they are actually Black and White and called The Magpies.

BTW, I'm in my backyard now overlooking Semaphore Beach, just spotted a couple of Bulldogs labouring along.

Without knowing the personality of him, could it be a development type role with the view to move into coaching. Was good at Reserves level last year but can't see him having an impact at League level.

The positive thing is that he wants to be in the SANFL rather than take the easy option and the cash out bush.

Because he is a very skilful player. He said he had wanted to stay on. Now we have a different coach with a different game plan.

Ive always "rated" Ben as a player. Gets the ball, can run and importantly for us can kick goals. Roy obviously never saw a spot for him (nor did glenelg or eagles), but I'm glad he's back. Clubs need good people, positive influences within the playing group. I dont think he had a good run with injury either. Glad to see Sam Hanna back also, a good utility type player, good at this level.

Ive noticed a few of you Central folk having a dig at Roy now he has gone. I wouldn't suggest its a coach or coaching issue.

I know you are just trolling, but if you knew me you would not ever suggest I would have a dig at Roy. I meant literally exactly what I said, new coach, new game plan. Roy has 7 league premierships plus one reserves premiership as coach, a reserve premiership as a player and a gf as a league player. The new coach has none of that, but he does have a new game plan and he is now the coach.

Exactly. He might be good around the club but let’s be honest, if he’s getting a game in the league side then that side ain’t playing finals.
