No, the **** killed them, he didn't die along side them, he died a gutless piece of shit after killing his kids.

My sentiments precisely, I'll refrain from further comment.

Oh, so you sigh when you answer the phone, which makes me feel sad and despite this, I still stick up for you when everyone else is digging the heels in...and yet I'm still a wanker.

Close friend of 40 years falls off a quad bike and is pronounced brain dead upon arrival to hospital.
Wasn't a fun shift at work last night finding that out 5 minutes before I started.
:(
Nearing 50 makes me sad, so many more funerals than weddings or births.

Missing a cricket elimination final due to a wedding. Realistically this is my partners friend from work and im purely the plus one. I am an acquaintance with the bride and have only met the groom on two occasions.

I guess im trying to adult (not something i have a history of always doing) and do the right thing by an amazing partner who would do anything for me. Deep down though i wish i was out on the field with the lads. Will be gutted if we lose, this is a team i have had a fair bit of success against.

Last game we had was an elimination final and i gave up a bucks show of an acquaintance to play. Considering i dont drink and this was purely a drinking show i didnt think it would be a big deal. Misjudged the situation and copped a bit of stick for it, especially on-line from some of the mates of the mate.

Sometimes being an adult sucks and you cant keep everyone happy.

If you're on the wagon now why don't you play and then take off at your first opportunity? Surely the ball and chain would understand and you'll get there for the festivities, surely no one is going to judge you poorly for it, you've entered a commitment to your team mates back in October and then if they do get up you'll be pushing someone out the side to play in the GF.
