a) Are you trying the correct numbers/emails?
b) Pete Clarkson (Secretary) is currently in NZ
I'm not sure mate, I'll have to ask our secretary. He had been trying to contact them over the last three weeks.

FWIW they wont make finals in any grade and I think the Bedge might be on the money, they're probably better off falling under the North Haven umbrella and you guys all manipulating the rules as much as you can to play in two comps under the one identity.

Speaking of the 1000 run mark, I see Michael Hallet crossed it on the weekend with another 40 in LO4.

Now has 1,011 runs @ 101.1 with 4x 100's and 4x 50's
Played with Micky Hallet when i was at Westies, champion bloke. Good to see him still playing, making runs and getting to play cricket with his young fella.

Due to the arrogance of their president I highly doubt anything like that will happen.

Para Vista are a 2 out, all out side. They will play Units in the first final. They will lose one of the two games to Two Wells or Pines

True, but if Hoddo gets himself set that’s the game there.

Top spot will come down to the last game between vista and pines, which is fantastic programming it must be said. I would have vista 60/40 favs.

If two wells were to scrap in to the top 4, id much rather play pines at the pines than vista at jailview.

Should make for an interesting game then.

Don’t need to do that though, we struggling enough as it is - their LO4 side would knock off our G3 side at the moment

Whoa settle petal

They haven't done it yet, and if they do well that's their prerogative as a club. It is what it is.. although you'd think it would be a pretty hollow feeling for their B grade if they played finals off the back of the A grade winning the game for them.

Judge not lest ye be judged.

No settling here, it's a Friday and i have that pre finals tingle......:)

Nah i have no time for clubs that pull shit manuevers like that.

We had a club up here try and do a slight little out of spirit dodgy to make finals and its a load of bullshit. Lucky it backfired on them.

Honestly, they have the depth in the club to not need to pull stunts like that - guys like Perris, Lubcke, Sparre and Bates are more than capable and have played big games in the past.

Also last year they looked the side to beat and fell over at the semi final hurdle, are well clear this year but slipped last week.. you would think they wouldn't want to potentially mess with their momentum and preparation by playing in the B grade in a game that has no impact on them as an A grade unit.

Exactly disrespectful to the players you have in the B grade, only going to hurt your A grade and totally shit for all the other sides in that league that have worked there arses off in 30+ degree weather week in week out.

If it was an AFL club doing that to a SANFL side everyone would be up in arms, the fact this is amateur sport makes it even more ridiculous. Quick way to make a mockery of a comp and dishearten a bunch of people from playing the game.

TBH though i wouldnt think North Pines would be revealing their plans so obviously if they were going to do it so most likely its a bit of shit stirring.
