Evidently huge lineups at the G, looks like they will get at least 90k.

Hope the Aussies get up here but have a feeling that the Indians might get the chocolates (are they allowed to eat them  )

Indians won’t have a slow low pitch like they did last time the two teams played

A T20 World Cup final combined with a Katy Perry concert on International Women's day. Build it and they will come.

I wouldn't pay to watch men's 20/20 either. The bits I've seen on tv of this tournament have been more than watchable. Seen more of the women's 20/20 than the men's since its inception.

Would be interested to see what the final figures report, looks to be plenty of spare seats. The wife’s work received 2500 complimentary tickets and they were told the Commonwealth Bank had 12,000 tickets to give out

The footage of the team celebrating with Katy Perry on stage after smoking the Indians in front of 86,000 people will be remembered and replayed for years to come.

On one level it will be the making of dreams for little girls all across Australia, dreaming that one day that might be them.

On another level, taking gender out of the discussion, it will be remembered as a truly remarkable day in Australian sport.

I'm an outspoken knocker of T20 cricket, but winning a World Cup at home in front of 86,000 people had my spine tingling on Sunday night. Was great to watch.

How crap was it that vice captain Racheal Haynes missed the celebration with Katy Perry because she was getting drug tested?

Surely they could've held off for 10 minutes, that was a once in a lifetime experience that she was robbed of pointlessly.

Didn't know that LM, thats very very poor.

Agree Boon, apart from the knuckle draggers, how can you not love what the elevation of women's sport has done.

But the price paid to ensure a clean sport.

My sister was at the game but decided to leave because they were taking too long to set up after the official presentation ended. So there was at least 30 minutes taken there.

At the end of the day, Katy was only singing two songs before and two songs after the game.

I'm surprised that she still did it given her pregnancy.

You hear of some players needing to wait hours to provide a sample, could have waited and let them celebrate. This is a one off occasion.

Yep. Once your number is selected you're only allowed 2 (I think) 600ml bottles of water supplied by the tester. No wonder Willie Rioli allegedly tipped in lemon lime Powerade.

Why is there even drug testing happening in the womens game?
What sort of drugs are going to help a womens cricketer who doesn't bowl in a T20 game?
