Let’s say there was a national ban on public gatherings of, I dunno, let’s say 5-10 K. The SANFL games might fall under the criteria and could see a resurgence of interest as local AFL fans were starved of action...I’ve personally been sceptical of the media frenzy.. but when professional sports in Europe start to play in empty stadiums its probably time to take it a bit more serious.

Interesting thoughts, Hazy. Yes, if there is a 'floor' imposed on crowds and gatherings then, depending on the length of such a ban, it could translate into an increase in interest in the local product.

Interest in the digital pass, perhaps. All the local action without the exposure to virus vectors!

If the AFl season gets cancelled and SANFL season goes ahead i can see Port and Crows playing all their best players each week.

Been a great recruit Goodrem. When he first arrived it was a pretty tough team to break into and word around the traps was likely he wouldn’t be around for long. Even though it’s not my club, always gotta admire recruits that buy in and stick around a long time.

I'd rather take my chances with catching the virus.

So you're saying the virus will have no discernable effect on the competition?

If I watch the games on digital pass is there any chance my computer can get infected with corona?

Pretty strong list on paper, however we did the last 2 seasons aswell. Like most clubs will come down to how well the players buy-in, how well the coaches get them to play a preferred style (and whether that style is effective) of footy and how they run health wise. All things going well they should play finals, probably with a double chance, and then from there it's how well you execute against the other better sides when it matters I guess.
