early days still but with a month before the first game. what are the early feels from people on how it will pan out?

Ingle Farm would have to go in favs dis yr surely? PAC will be hard to beat. Unsure on who will be relegated tough tight competition dis yr!!

I'm not sure why you think Ingle Farm would go in favourites. They have picked up a few players, but still a question mark on their batting. PAOC and Pooraka were miles ahead of the rest last year and we'll have to wait and see if they are both weakened by players leaving.

recruited tony Scott (A2 medallist) 2 seasons ago and also a spinner which they needed badly and hes the best spinner in adel turf. Pooraka losing Marks will hurt. Ingle Farm and PAC GF for mine... will be daylight ahead then Pooraka then the rest.

I'm lead to believe they were expecting to have a poor second half to the year when 3-4 went back to Sydney form uni

Thier big players played right at the end.

Team was missing them more in the start of the year.

All cricket finals are cancelled.
Top 2 go up, which sucks cause you'd like to earn it if you finish 2nd on the ladder.
But we'll have another crack at A1 gladly

A3 - no idea
A2 - will be close, Taylor (Flinders Park) 750+ runs and Harvey (Woody South) 46 wickets, but I'll take the all rounder Wilkins from Hope Valley.
A1 - Hanson, no points for getting this one right.

Team of the year:
I recon they'll slip Taylor in from A2, opening the batting given how far ahead in terms of runs he was over the A1 batting options.
English for PAOC.
Hanson will be there and bat 4.
Hiscock as well, get him at 6ish.
Plenty of all rounders too. Barnes, Blackmore, Eranga and Wilkins (A2) (They always put the A2 medal winner in don't they?)
Keeper of the year will be in there, whoever that is.
Sandercock too.

That's 10, bit of a raffle after that for the last spot and the 12th man if they name one.
Lets say Knowles, no idea who to pick if they do a 12th.

They generally name 12, with the A1 Cricketer of the Year, A1 Keeper of the Year and A2 Cricketer of the Year auto selections. Hard to see Hanson being beaten, maybe Eranga is the only one who could get close. A2 could be tight with the Flinders Park boys possibly taking votes off each other, so Russell Thomas could be a big chance. A1 Keeper of the Year will be interesting. TBH I'm not even sure how the voting works. Richardson is the best keeper, but only played 9 games, so it could be a toss up between Bailey (Pooraka), Rowe (Marion) or McLeay (SPOC)

ATCA Team of the Year
English
Taylor
Hanson
Blackmore
Hiscock
Wilkins
Barnes
Eranga
Fonseka
Sandercock
Carey
Overall
No real arguments. Carey with 30 wickets in A1 favoured over Harvey's 46 A2 wickets. Fonseka winning A1 keeper and making team was a surprise, given he only played 9 games, but that said he was well ahead on the points, so fair enough. Good representation across a number of clubs with 8 clubs having one player and two clubs (Para Hills and Flinders Park) having 2 players. Looking forward to seeing Flinders Park in A1 nect year .... they should be very competitive.

Foneska with 14 catches is a joke. Miles off the rest. The rest of the team on point.
A1 teams will enjoy batting at Flinders Park, fill your boots.

How do they decide wicket keeper in the team of the year? Are there votes from umpires each game?

Number of dismissals not necessarily a good indicator of quality IMO
