Would love to survey the people of Australia, should we just go into a full lockdown now & for how long.

Can we get Grant Denyer to conduct said survey?

We got the nod this morning. Was eerie saying goodbye to fellow workers and seeing everyone load up their cars with monitors, pc's and even chairs.

Come join us in our schools. With 150 teachers and support staff, it is hard enough for US to practice safe social-distance, let alone when you factor in 1500 students... but why not add a few more?? Heck, get married in a school, then you can have 50 people in your small room for it!

The fact that ScoMo was literally able to say that Australians can’t get a tan or a tattoo, but can still get a haircut, with 1.5m appropriate social distancing, just summed it up for me really.

Everyone still working is an essential worker apparently. Not sure the chicks in the make-up section at Myer are essential but what would we know? Surely it’s just encouraging morons to head to the shops when they don’t need to.

I genuinely don’t know where we go from here.

No point having barbershops open if you can't buy skinny chinos and head to your local boutique brewery.

Weddings limited to 5 people, but PT groups can have 10 people?!

Hold the wedding in a school but have everyone kneel to look like children... then you can have 100 people there!

The barber better have good aim; after all, his scissors need to be 1.5 metres long and not be used within 4sqm.

Dress your bridesmaids and groom in lycra and sweatbands, then you can have up to 10 wedding attendees :D

So my outback 4wd trip is canned as it is "non essential travel" (~30 pages ago) but what travel is allowed?
Can i go to the beach - adhering to social distancing?
Can i visit family in my hometown 150km away?
Why is BCF still open if i cant B, C or F?
If people can travel to their PT class why shouldnt i be able to go on a camping trip. Mixed messages - just bite the bullet and shut it all down.

That sucks, but if in doubt stay home.

With my wife being a nurse and being at the frontline I am avoiding my parents completely as my dad has a bad heart.

Perhaps go back and watch his speech again, you can do all those things in your home state, just not in big groups

Change your destination, go across to Dog Fence or Coober Pedy instead

Who gives a **** about weddings anyway.. and if it’s your great desire that you absolutely must get married right now then **** ya that’s your choice.

PT groups were limited to outdoors and same social distancing requirements plus as whuffer pointed out exercise/activity is good for maintaining sound mental health.. it ain’t all about the gains.

Funerals - yeah that sucks but meh.

Also these are limitations on allowances - it’s not to say that people are going to rush out and stay with their PT group, get their haircut every week or keep sending their kids to school.. I’m sick of reading crap about ScoMo should be doing this and that - there is absolutely nothing stopping people as individuals from avoiding that stuff themselves.

If you don’t wanna go to the shops then don’t.
If you don’t want your kids at school then don’t send them

It’ll be interesting though who listens to the advice to avoid social gatherings - coming home from work yesterday, still had the 30+ Indians playing cricket on the oval.
