SA Health is trying to contact around 40 people they've not been able to reach, who were on Virgin flight VA428 which departed Sydney on Thursday March 19th. They may have come into contact with infected cruise ship passengers.

Cases double roughly every 3 days at the moment. That rate will slow as people recover, and the social distancing crackdown continues.

Lets say it averages a double every 7 days from here.

July before we hit the predicted 20% of Australians.

There are only so many jobs I can do around the house. 15 weeks is a bloody long time!

There will be a huge number of people that get it and never know too. If we can speed up widespread antibody testing, there will be no need for a prolonged lockdown.

Hope so.
I'm worried about the number of people that survive the virus but end up in the morgue from health issues related to financial stress.

One of the big fears up here and it would be the same in the APY lands would be if elders get it and die how that impacts on the leadership of the communities and also the self harm effects on those that remain. :(
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Have had no contact whatsoever, any verbal is through a locked sliding door, neither has been outside since Friday (just let the dog out for a piss)

Yep, if you've been within 1.5m of them

I'd suggest calling SA Health on 1300 232 272 ( Prompt #3 when you get asked ) and run it past them.

Yep thanks for that, & the follow up since I forgot to take the number to work.
Got through quickly, the not so confident lass told me she thought it'd be ok, just don't pat the dog.
2nd ópinion'stay 3m clear, contact through glass sliding door, piss that fcking dog off.
Don't think the husband gets it, twice had to tell him to back off & get that fcking dog away from me.
He seems to think that his isolation finishes Monday, even though his Wife tested positive only yesterday, apparently SA Health told him it's all okey dokey, but nobody's rung his wife except to tell her she's infected.
Hey soccer you owe us 45million.

Anyone else see the dumba$$ woman on TV who breached her confinement TWICE and was fined $1,000?
She was warned the first time then went straight out and did it again

The email came around today, all staff to work from home. That means recording and uploading lectures from home.

Unfortunately, that's the big problem!!

While 90% of us will do the right thing, without being rude, you see the other 10% of society who are deadbeats, thick as bricks, and the lowest of IQ's, it is really hard to control them as they literally have no idea!

I'm set, have a new computer (haven't really been on a laptop/pc for 3.5 years except for at work), have World of Warcraft downloaded, a gaming keyboard, a gaming mouse, headphones and a garage full of piss. See you all in 3-6 months!
Never thought I'd get into Wow again (been almost 4 years) but desperate times call for desperate measures, even the missus seems happy as she can watch shit peacefully on TV while I play away.
Who would have thought never growing up would come in handy.
Can somebody knock on my door when footy starts?

PS If anyone is on Foxtel give them a ring (or use the messaging service and wait a couple of days like me), I told them I wanted to get rid of sports (as there is none!), get rid of HD (as I watch mainly on chromecast) and get rid of movies (as I hardly watch them). Also told them that we've got to tighten the belt with corona.

They told me they'd give me HD free for 6 months, movies and drama free for 6 months and sports free for 3 months.
More content and my price drops from $133 to $54 pm!!!

Out of interest @Wedgie, what’s the difference between a standard keyboard and a gaming one?

Different mechanics, prettier colours and usually easier ability to bind macros to different keys.

Or more
I’ve got a flight to Singapore booked on Oct 3rd and everything I’m hearing through the industry is that domestic travel might be opening up by August but possibly the end of the year before International travel kicks off. I’m still holding out hope though
